Established law firm is currently hiring an Entry Level Paralegal for a full time and permanent position. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The position provides some benefits including paid training.
The law firm is composed of one litigation attorney, a full time paralegal and one part time paralegal. The entry level paralegal position plays a vital role in the success of the firm and requires a mature person who is focused on a professional career in the legal field. Applicants interested in this position must be reliable and have a great attendance record.
This position will be responsible for answering the law firm inbound calls from existing and potential clients. Open new case records, assist with gathering support information and perform data entry duties. You will type basic emails and correspondence and learn how to prepare various legal documents. This position is ideal for someone who has a completed Paralegal Certificate but needs hands-on experience. The attorney will eventually teach you how to handle calendaring, schedule hearings, mediations, and depositions along with client appointments.
