A global bookkeeping and accounting company is hiring a Remote Accountant (must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone). This is a permanent “Direct Hire” position offering full time hours + benefits. Pay is up to $100,000.00

About the company: This is a fully remote bookkeeping company. Originally headquartered out of Massachusetts, all employees work virtually. The majority of senior leadership is in the U.S however a portion of the staff is located in the Philippines, Dubai, etc. The company provides mostly bookkeeping services to mid-sized organizations. This is a friendly and easygoing group who is looking to add to their team.
About the position: The Accountant will be assigned specific clients and provide guidance and bookkeeping services to each client as it relates to accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, budget forecasting, reconciliations, etc. This role will eventually act as a Team Leader and supervise other accountants. You will provide training, answer questions, conduct research or troubleshoot complex bookkeeping issues and motivate your team to meet deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
A BA Degree in Accounting or Finance OR
7 years of experience in a bookkeeping/accounting type role
Must have leadership skills
