About the position: We are searching for an attorney or past insurance underwriter with experience managing plaintiff personal injury cases. The attorney will work closely with a team of underwriters to review personal injury cases for pre-settlement litigation funding nationwide, with a heavy emphasis in NY. All personal injury case types are reviewed with emphasis on motor vehicle accidents, labor law, premises liability and civil rights cases. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of personal injury cases. Assessments will require the examination of the handling attorney, venue, docket, case facts, legal issues, causation, medical records, insurance coverage, and due diligence background searches. Assign gross estimated case values, taking into consideration anticipated liens, as well as other potential liabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have one of the following: Juris Doctorate degree, Paralegal Certificate, and/or experience working with personal injury cases.
