An international law firm is currently hiring an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal for their Fort Lauderdale, 33309 office. The I.P. paralegal can train in the Fort Lauderdale office and work remotely after training if desired.

The position pays $75,000.00 – $140,000.00 + full benefits.

Duties include:
Manage client IP portfolios
Draft formality documents, attend to document legalization (where necessary), comply with priority document requirements
Files and oversees all phases of trademark clearance, prosecution and maintenance
Conducts preliminary registration feasibility studies and availability searches for marks, and copyrights. Updates and audits the IP docketing databases, and files trademark documents, including the preparation of trademark and copyrights applications; prepares responses to office actions, prepares amendments and responses, and other substantive submissions to trademark offices in the US and worldwide

Minimum Requirements
4+ years of IP experience
