An established insurance defense law firm with a great reputation is continuing to expand their practice. They are now seeking an additional attorney that can handle both construction and commercial trucking/auto pre-suit claims.

DUTIES: The attorney position requires a person who is able to handle both construction and commercial trucking/auto pre-suit claims, Fla. Stat. 558 claims and evaluations, construction and trucking/auto inspections, litigation, discovery, and depositions. Further, the candidate must have strong writing skills for reporting, pleading, and motion practice. It may be necessary to identify two candidates to meet the requirements of the position/s. They must be able to work independently and at the same time, work with other team members, carriers, and clients. Ideally we would like someone with 3 to 7 years of construction, commercial trucking/auto, and insurance defense experience.
The position requires the person to be proficient with preparing and revising discovery demands, responses, and taking both fact and expert witness depositions. They must understand basic construction, defense and indemnification principles as well as how OCIPs and CCIPs work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years of civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, construction defect or similar (no 1st party property please)
