A large nationwide insurance defense law firm hiring an Insurance Defense Paralegal in Miami, 33130. A Hybrid schedule is offered (3 days from home).

The Insurance Defense Paralegal (Liability experience preferred) will be responsible for drafting routine & complex legal documents; pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, etc. Assist with; deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with exhibits, the preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial. The litigation paralegal is also responsible for billing for their time. Applicants do not need but strongly prefer a background handling billable hours (approx 125 per month).

We will consider seasoned legal assistants who have some doc prep experience with an insurance defense background. We will also consider advanced plaintiff paralegals with exceptional experience and tenure.

Minimum Requirements
3+ years of civil litigation (as it relates to defense)
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
