An established law firm is hiring a Paralegal in Opelousas, 70570. This is a permanent position being offered as a “Direct Hire”. The position offers full time hours and generous paid time off. Pay is negotiable (est up to) $62,00.00
We are willing to provide federal filing experience to the right paralegal or legal secretary.
About the law firm: This is an established law firm that handles both State and Federal cases as they relate to personal injury auto accidents. The firm provides a friendly yet professional environment where training and career advancement is encouraged. The office closes early every Friday.
About the position: Support an experienced Partner in civil litigation and trial experience. Applicants with federal filing experience are strongly encouraged to apply – WE WILL TRAIN. It is preferred to know how to Federally E-file but not required. Experience with Jury trials is also strongly preferred but is not required.
Applicants should know how to handle a personal injury case from client intake, litigation, trial or settlement. Duties include preparing basic legal documents (pleadings, notices, summaries, bench books for trial, etc).
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of plaintiff personal injury
