About the law firm: This is a mid-sized law firm that has been open and operating for over 40 years with AV Ratings and multiple Board Certified Attorneys. This is a professional office environment with a friendly atmosphere while working with some of Florida’s most respected attorneys.
About the position: Work closely with your attorney and act as a liaison between the attorney and the case files throughout all stages of litigation including pre-trial investigation, & trial preparation, mediation, arbitration and trial. The Commercial Litigation Paralegal will manage their own caseload. The Litigation Paralegal will also work effectively on a team. Advanced knowledge of litigation process in Florida; legal terminology, documents and the legal process, excellent research and analytical skills, and high-level attention to detail. You will; Preparing for mediations, arbitrations, and trials, E-File in both state and federal courts
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of Florida paralegal experience
3+ years commercial litigation
High School Diploma or GED required
Trial experience
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program is a plus
