An insurance defense law firm is hiring a Litigation Attorney in Orlando, 32801. WE WILL TRAIN a litigation attorney that is interested in learning defense. Pay is negotiable (salary is commensurate with experience).

The ideal attorney will have insurance defense experience as it relates to auto accidents & injuries. However, we will consider a plaintiff personal injury, PIP attorney or an attorney with general civil litigation experience that is eager to learn defense work.

Helpful areas of knowledge; commercial trucking/auto pre-suit claims, auto insurance defense, personal injury plaintiff, premise liability or construction defect, 1st party property damage, 2nd & 3rd party property damage claims.

Responsibilities:
Manage a busy litigation caseload as it relates to insurance defense. Meet 170 hour billable requirement (a bonus plan is offered for attorneys that exceed their billables). Work closely with your assigned Legal Assistant and provide positive leadership to your team. Review or prepare legal documents, attend hearings, mediations and depos, etc.

Minimum Requirements
No less than 3 years insurance defense or plaintiff litigation experience
Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
