A boutique law firm is hiring a Paralegal in Fort Lauderdale, 33316. This is a permanent position offering full time hours + benefits.

About the law firm: Small 2 attorney law firm with a steady caseload. The law firm handles a variety of general civil litigation and some transactional matters. Cases range from: Commercial litigation, personal injury, transactional work (business contracts, lease agreements, real estate, etc).

About the position: The current paralegal is retiring after 10+ years in her position. We are searching for someone who can support 2 attorneys that draft the majority of their own documents. Duties will include review/revise legal documents, E-File, schedule hearings, mediations and depositions as well as gather supporting documents. Applicants must be willing to learn basic bookkeeping (or already possess those skills).

Minimum Requirements
Must know how to E-File (Florida)
2+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience
Basic accounting/bookkeeping skills or aptitude to learn
