An established personal injury law firm is hiring a Paralegal in Greenbelt MD 20770. The position is a permanent – Direct Hire placement (No probationary period with a staffing agency).

The Paralegal is responsible for reviewing the file after the client interview/intake. Order all supporting documents; medical records, police reports, medical expenses, accident reports, etc. Prepare legal documents using the firm’s templates; pleadings, complaints, notices, etc. Additionally the paralegal handles all calendaring and scheduling of hearings, mediations and depos for their assigned attorney.

To be successful in this role you must have prior civil litigation experience. Individuals with a background in any of the following areas will be considered: plaintiff personal injury, PIP, insurance defense, general civil litigation, construction defect., medical malpractice, or product defect. Individuals who have worked as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary may also qualify.
